Chiefs complete their second signing ahead of the season 2023/2024, with signing of Mduduzi Mdantshane from Cape Town City.

According to Idiskitv, Amakhosi paid R3.5 million for their former development player.

The 29-year-old returns to the club and signs a three-year deal with the club.

His contract was due to expire at the end of the current month, but City exercised a one-year extension option before Chiefs came for the player.

Mdantshane has been a thorn in Chiefs’ side over the years, as he had the knack of scoring against Amakhosi.

In his last game against Chiefs, he scored in a 1-0 victory for the Citizens in the last game of the league season.

The diminutive attacker has been on the club’s radar for the last few seasons, and his eye for goals will help the club in attack.

Mdantshane scored 21 goals and provided seven assists in 109 games during his three year stay in Cape Town.

He is the club’s second signing after Thatayaone Ditlhokwe from Supersport United.

While the likes of Given Msimango and Ranga Chivaviro are said to have agreed a deal with the club as well.
