The imment departure of striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana opened a void in the club’s front line, which they are looking to fill.

Former Orlando Pirates and now-defunct Bidvest Wits attacker Gabadinho Mhango is tipped to fill the void.

The 30-year-old is currently training on his own after Amazulu decided to cut him ahead of the 2023/2024 season.

According to The South African, Mhango is being considered at Naturena after the club decided to sell Bimenyimana to Morrocan giants, Wydad AC.

The Malawian international stopped training with Amazulu, as he is not in the club’s plans going forward.

He is currently looking for a team ahead of next season, and Phefeni is his likest next destination.

However, his discipline issues may hinder his move to the club, as his relation with his last three clubs ended badly.

Despite his discipline issues, Mhango is not short of suitors.

Clubs like TS Galaxy, Sekhukhune United, and Supersport United are linked to the player.

But at the moment, Amakhosi are leading the race to land their longtime target.
