Kaizer Chiefs promote under-17 star Vicky Mkhawana to the first team ahead of the season 2023/2024.
After registering an impressive 3 goals and an assist in the ongoing African U-17 Cup of Nations, the youngster earned himself a contract with Chiefs’ first team.
The 17-year-old middlefieder signed a 3-year deal with the senior team, becoming a fourth signing for the club ahead of the season 2023/2024.

His promotion is a shock to many, as he has not featured in the club’s reserve side regularly.
He has been a regular starter for the club’s under-19 side in the Gauteng Development League(GDL).
Mkhawana joins Mduduzi Shabalala, Samkelo Zwane, and Wandile Duba in being promoted to the first team this season.
