Ahead of the new season, Kaizer Chiefs is facing challenges for their their three new signings.

Amakhosi signed eight players this transfer window but faces challenges for three of the new players.

The trio of Pule Mmodi, Ranga Chivaviro, and Tebogo Potsane’s moves to Naturena have gone smoothly.

Pule is in a fight with his former agent, Solomon Seobe, over his move, Richards Bay is claiming Chivaviro as their player, and Royal AM is disputing Potsane’s move to Chiefs.

The latter joined Amakhosi on a three-year deal on a free transfer from Royal AM after his deal with the KZN expired at the end of the 2022/2023 season.

His move to Chiefs came as a shock to Royal AM management that was looking to exercise their option to extend his contract.

They took Chiefs to the PSL Dispute Resolution Chamber(DRC) over the signing of the 29-year-old.

Royal AM was led by Leruma Thobejane in the absence of owner and president, Dr Shauwn Mkhize.

But the KZN based club lost the battle, as the PSL DRC dismissed their case at a cost.

Chiefs were well within their right to sign the player on a free transfer, as he was a free agent.

Potsane could have signed with any team from the first of January 2023, as the FIFA law permitted him to.

It was to Royal AM to trigger the extension option before his deal expired or even entered the last six months.
