Orlando Pirates star attacker Thembinkosi Lorch will reportedly travel to Spain with the club for pre-season.
Buccaneers star player Thembinkosi Lorch is facing criminal charges against him.
The attacker was found guilty of assulting his ex-girlfriend Fundiswa Mathithibala.
Lorch was arrested back on September 6th, 2020, after the two had an argument that led to the Pirates star becoming violent.

He was released a day later on R2000 bail, before taking almost three years to find out penalty for his action.
On Tuesday the 6th of June 2023, Randburg Magistrates’ Court found the 29-year-old guilty of assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Lorch’s sentencing is set for later next month(July), putting his journey to Spain for pre-season in doubt.

The South African international is set to appear in court for his sentencing on the 28th of July 2023.
According to UnplayableZA, the former Chippa United star will travel with the rest of the squad to Spain for pre-season.
WHEN IS PIRATES HEADING TO SPAIN!
The Sea Robbers will travel to Spain on the 9th of July and will spend just under two weeks in Celta, Spain.
Their first match is against Israeli giants Maccabi Tel Aviv on the 13th of July, followed by a clash against Independiente Del Valle two days later.

Meanwhile, Lorch’s contract at the Mayfair based club expires at the end of 2023/2024 season.
He is likely to leave, as he is said to have turned down a new offer from the club.
Talks of new contract are currently off the table due to difficulties in his life.
But the club is reported to be looking to keep their star attacker at the club.
