After a good start to life at Kaizer Chiefs, Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana ended the 2022/2023 season as one of the players likely to leave the club.

Bimenyimana joined Chiefs towards the end of August 2022 after a successful trial stint at the club.

Signing a two-year deal with an option for a further year after joining on a free transfer.

This leads to the club wanting to partways with him before the start of the 2023/2024 season.
