And the pressure got the better of Chiefs, as they lost the match 1-0.
The only goal of the match came in the first half, as Supersport’s attacker Ghampani Lungu capitalised on Chiefs’ goalkeeper Brandon Petersen to make the score 1-0 in favour of the hosts.
The loss was their 11th this season and have also lost their chance to qualify for CAF interclub football next season.
Angry Chiefs took out their frustrations on the club’s head coach and some players.
