ANDILE JALI NOT HAPPY WITH MAMELODI SUNDOWNS STAR!
After he and the club agreed on terminating his contract a month before it could end, Jali did not get a chance to say goodbye to his teammates.
This past weekend, Sundowns hosted Swallows in an MTN8 quarterfinal clash at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium in Pretoria, Gauteng.
Jali lasted less than 10 minutes in the match, as he was sent off after a tackling Tebogo Mokoena.
On his way to the tunnel, Jali revealed the reason behind his reckless tackle and why he is angry at Mokoena.
“It wasn’t intentional, but he called for it. There’s a way to remove someone from a group chat,” Jali said.
“As may you know, I had been with the club for many years, and all I wanted was to say goodbye to the gents.
“We went through a lot together.
“I typed two paragraphs before I could even press send, I was out of the group. Can you imagine that?”
Mothobi Mvala and Mokoena, who allegedly removed Jali, are said to be group admins.
Meanwhile, Sundowns went on to beat Swallows 1-0 thanks to a second strike from captain, Themba Zwane.
