AmaZulu striker Bongi Ntuli’s health took a sudden turn for the worse shortly after his wedding.
The alarming incident began on September 25 during a match against Polokwane City in Polokwane, where Ntuli complained of chest pains, forcing him to sit out the game.

As Ntuli’s condition continued to deteriorate, the decision was made to rush him to a Netcare facility in Durban.

His wife, Sne, who is also the club CEO, expressed deep concern during this trying time.

Just a month before his illness, Ntuli tied the knot with Sne Zungu, the daughter of AmaZulu’s President, Sandile Zungu.

Unfortunately, Ntuli’s health issues persisted, and he remained unwell even when AmaZulu lost a match to Moroka Swallows on September 29 in the DStv Premiership.

Ntuli displayed immense strength but also appeared visibly weakened during this challenging period.
