Having joined the Brazilians back in January 2022 from an Ethiopian side, Ethiopia Bunna, Nasir, was expected to be among the top players in the continent.

However, a couple of years later, injuries and inconsistent displays at the club have left him with uncertainties around his future at the club.

The 25-year-old was last seen at the now-defunct SuperSport United, where he didn’t even play a single game before returning to his parent club, where he is currently preparing for the new season.

Speaking to KickOff, the Ethiopian international has revealed that he is open to leaving the club if that guarantees that he will play football this upcoming season.

While confirming that he is back in the country and training alone, the attacker also revealed that he is talks with Sundowns after spending the majority of last season in his home country of Ethiopia working on his ankle injury.

The likely outcome will see him be among a host of players that leave the club this window, whether permanently or on a loan basis, will be totally decided among the two parties.
