The youngsters played a crucial role in the Cape Town-based club earning promotion to the Dstv Premiership back in the season 2022/2023, which saw their respective clubs extend their loan deals at the club.
But after failing to help Spurs stay in the top tier of South African football, the duo are set to return to their parent clubs ahead of the 2024/2025 season as confirmed by their agent, Mike Makaab at Gagasi FM.
“The two players that we represent are actually loan players, that’s Boitumelo Radiopane and Luvuyo Phewa. They will return to their respective clubs,” Makaab said.
“Vuyo to Mamelodi Sundowns and Radiopane back to Orlando Pirates.
“We’re in the, let’s say , ortunate position, that we have players at the club that we have to really concern ourselves about.
“But, it’s a sad day. Because the club has big heritage. I thought that they would’ve strengthened the team with a few more experienced players, arly on, and then gave themselves more of a chance to retain their PSL status.
