Kaizer Chiefs is reported to be in advanced talks to sign Asante Kotoko SC shot-stopper Mohammed Camara.

Despite the perfect start to the 2025-2026 season, having won three of the three matches, the club has played this season without conceding a single goal, Amakhosi are still in the market looking to add a goalkeeper.
In the last few seasons, the club has struggled in the department, as in last season only, the club played three goalkeepers across the entire season.
However, after a heroic penalty shootout performance against Chiefs in this year’s Toyota Cup, Camara confirmed the club has inquired about his availability as per Africafoot.
According to The CoverUp sources, Chiefs are in advanced talks with the Ghanian giants, Kotoko, for the services of the 25-year-old shot-stopper.
Camara is currently in his final year of his contract at the club, and the Naturena-based club is willing to wait for a year to sign the Gambian goalkeeper for free should the two sides not reach an agreement.
Meanwhile, the chase of Camara by Chiefs puts Fiacre Ntwari’s future at Naturena even more in doubt, as not only does he holds one of yue foreign quota at the club, but he is number three in the pecking order behind Brandon Petersen and Bruce Bvuma.
But the Rwandan international is not short of suitors, as European clubs and Young Africans SC are interested in services.
