Mamelodi Sundowns is close to securing the second signing of the transfer window, having signed Fawaaz Basadien from Stellenbosch FC already.

Since deciding against turning the move of Lucas Suarez to the club permanent at the end of his loan spell, the Brazilians have eyed former Kaizer Chiefs development central defender Khulumani Ndamane.
After weeks of talks between the player’s club, TS Galaxy, and Mamelodi Sundowns, the two parties have reached an agreement that will see the 21-year-old pens a long-term deal at Chloorkop before returning to Mpumalanga for a season-long loan move.
The South African international is expected to have his medical at Sundowns this week and sign on the dotted lines to become the club’s second signing of the transfer window after Basadien.
Meanwhile, Ndamane is expected to be followed by the signature of Aphelele Teto, who is on the verge of joining the Brazilians.
Teto is currently in talks with his Scottish club Livingston FC who are looking to partways with the player, as he has struggled to secure a work visa in the three seasons he has been with the side.
Like Ndamane, the 22-year-old will send out on a loan move, as he is currently training with the Motsepe Foundation Championship side, the University of Pretoria FC, where he will spend the season alongside Abubeker Nasir.
