Mamelodi Sundowns star attacker Thembinkosi Lorch is reported to have rejoined Morrocan giants, Wydad Athletic Club.

Having spent the second half of the season out on loan in Casablanca, Lorch has been heavily linked with a return to the club ahead of the 2025-2026 Botola Pro season.
Lorch was arguably the best player at the club during his loan spell, which saw the former Orlando Pirates attacker impress during the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The two African giants have since been logged in talks for the 32-year-old winger, as Wydad AC wanted to sign the player on a free transfer while the Brazilians demanded a fee for the player.
However, after months of back and forth negotiations, Lorch appears to have got his move back to Morroco according to reports in the North African country.
Lorch is reported to have electronically signed a contract with the club, and he is expected to travel to the country in the next coming days to complete his move as per Wydad Red Castle.
The South African international is expected to sign a two-year deal with an option to extend for a further year.
