Central middlefielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo shares his thoughts about the Kaizer Chiefs’ new signings.

Chiefs' New Signings
Kaizer Chiefs’ new signings Thabiso Monyane, Ethan Chislett, Nkanyiso Shinga, and Flàvio Silva with Mduduzi Shabalala and Thabo Cele in a training session at Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

Amakhosi has added six new players since the end of the 2024-2025 season after Ethan Chislett, Thabiso Monyane, Paseka Mako, Siphesihle Ndlovu, Nkanyiso Shinga, and Flàvio Silva all joined the club.

With their performances in the pre-season, leaving many with questions, one of the club’s long serving players, Ngcobo, discussed the impact the players have had since arriving.

“Our squad is well-balanced. I think our new signings bring a lot of quality and will help us a lot,” Ngcobo told the club’s website.

“We have made them feel at home here at Chiefs and are looking forward to working together to win matches.”

Ngcobo and the club’s new signings will have a chance to prove themselves this upcoming weekend when they travel to Cape Town.

The Naturena-based club will take on Stellenbosch FC on Sunday in the 2025-2026 Betway Premiership opener at Athlone Stadium.

The match against the Winelands based club will kick off at 5h30 South African time.
