There has been a major development on Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi’s wife condition after a critical accident in Tunisia.

On Friday early evening, Amakhosi released a statement stating that the club’s head coach Nabi would travel to his home country of Tunisia to be with his family after his wife was involved in a critical accident.
With the club’s faithful and the entire football fraternity in South Africa worrying about the coach’s wellbeing, one of the leading journalists in African football, Micky Jnr provided an update on the health of Nabi’s wife.
Micky Jnr took to his various social media platforms to share that the coach’s wife is awake at the hospital.
“I’ve just been briefed on Coach Nabi’s wife’s situation,” Micky Jnr stated.
“It was truly terrible, but God is great — she’s now awake.
“Let’s all keep Nabi’s family in our prayers. We are with you, Coach.”
The club also announced that Nabi will miss the club’s league opener away to Stellenbosch FC this Sunday with his assistants Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze taking the reigns.
The duo is expected to be in charge for more than just the game against Stellies, as Nabi’s wife condition appears to be dire.
