The reason why Mamelodi Sundowns rejected an offer for star striker Peter Shalulile is revealed, as the forward keels pushing for an exit.

Since January this year, the Namibian international has been pushing for a way out of the club, as he is not in the club’s plans going forward despite his contract at the club being extended by a further year until 2025-2026 season.
The 31-year-old didn’t return to training with his teammates after the FIFA Club World Cup, as his move from Chloorkop was supposed to happen.
However, Esperance Sportive de Tunis has failed to meet the reported R16 million required by Sundowns for Shalulile as per FARPost.
The publication states that Esperance has tabled three million less than what Sundowns wants for the player, which has led to Sundowns rejecting the offer to only see Shalulile push harder for the move.
Shasha is pushing for the club to sell him at a lower price due to his contract package being tied to the fee, as a lower transfer fee means higher package for him.
The Premier Soccer League second Goalscorer of all time with 128 with 101 of those coming in the colours of Sundowns has returned to the club and country from his home country to conclude the deal.
He was spotted in the club’s training session yesterday at the iconic Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville.
