Mamelodi Sundowns star attacker Thembinkosi Lorch joins Kaizer Chiefs star attackers Gaston Sirino and Mduduzi Shabalala ahead of the new season.

Having joined the Brazilians from arch-rivals, Orlando Pirates back in January 2024, Nyoso, as he is known to South African football lovers, has struggled to cement his place at the club.
Leading the 32-year-old to move to Morrocan giants, Wydad Athletic Club, on a half a season loan deal earlier this year.
His loan move in Morocco saw the South African international regain his best form and went on to be one of the outstanding players for African clubs during the recently concluded 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
His performances in Casablanca were quickly followed by an offer from Wydad AC to Sundowns for his services, which has hit a standstill with the clubs failing to reach an agreement.
While the two clubs continue to negotiate a deal, the former Orlando Pirates has been frozen out of the Sundowns’ first team activities, as he is not in head coach Miguel Cardoso’s plans.
The South African international has been seen training alone since returning to training to prepare for the new season.
However, despite being frozen out, Lorch has decided to bring in an experienced celebrity physical and fitness trainer, Vusi Hlabangwana, to help him prepare for the new season.
The duo shared video clips of their sessions on social media yesterday.
Blackvreka, as Hlabangwana is famously known, has in the recent past worked with FCSB star defender Siyabonga Ngezana, Gaston Sirino, Mfundo Vilakazi, Edmilson Dove, and Mduduzi Shabalala.
