Cape Town Spurs vs. Kaizer Chiefs and AmaZulu FC dispute takes another turn, as PSL Dispute Commitee Chamber asks for more evidence.

On Monday afternoon, PSL DRC received and heard arguments from Spurs, Chiefs, and AmaZulu regarding the signings of Asanele Velebayi and Luke Baartman by Chiefs and Liam Bern by AmaZulu for free transfers.
The club claims that the two clubs illegally signed the players for free as they are still contracted to the club despite being relegated to their third of South African football, which falls under SAFA’s governance.
According to the rules, a club in the third division of South African football and below are not considered professional clubs, and as such, its players are considered to be free agents.
Speaking to Sportswire, one of the personnel close to the proceedings revealed that they was no sitting by the DRC on Tuesday and Wednesday, as they requested more documents from the clubs involved.
The relevation means that the outcome won’t be reached soon, as the Spurs vs. Chiefs and AmaZulu dispute is a difficult case to rule over, as it has many implications.
But the likely outcome would be that both Amakhosi and Usuthu will be forced to pay a development fee of R1.5 million for each player, as stated by FIFA rules.
I’m confused third division is an ameture side and players are free agents on the other hand 1.5 million to be paid for each player?
If Spurs lose the case, Chiefs and AmaZulu will likely pay development fee to Spurs which is R1.5 million for each player
