Kaizer Chiefs superfan Vennetius Motswi popularly known as Papa Wawa reacts to how felt when the club’s supporters celebrated Ranga Chivaviro’s departure.

Chivaviro recently parted ways with the Naturena-based club after a difficult stint at the club, which was filled with love and hate with the club’s fans.
Something that most of the fans showed the player when the club announced his departure from the club.
Most of the fans showed support to the club and celebrated his departure, something that left Motswi in pain.
The Chairman of Kaizer Chiefs Football Club Atteridgeville Branch shared a video clip of himself talking to AmaFans Wethu, discussing how hurt he was.
“When Ranga left Kaizer Chiefs, lot of our fellow supporters celebrated. Honestly speaking, that pained me,” Motswi stated.
He further went on to explain how the player lost himself at the club due to his fellow supporters, and how good he was before joining Chiefs.
“(When) we got Ranga he was good, he was lethal from Marumo Gallants. Us supporters of Kaizer Chiefs we killed him. We are responsible. When chips were down on Ranga, we were responsible to pick him up but we killed him.
“He might not become the Ranga whom he used to be because of us. It was not our place to attack him, but to motive him.
“When he left the way, my heart was so painful, I said it is the best for him to leave. But as much as I love my club, something in me was saying,”I wish he could punish us only one game.”
“He is one of the players, if he can come and score against us as much as I love my team, I can celebrate for him.
“That we crucified you. Sometimes, when you scored, we would celebrate him. That’s what they have done to Jesus Christ. When he was raising the dead, the cripples were healed, and they would say,”he is powerful.” But when the days were dark, they said,” crucify him.””
