Two second-half strikes see Orlando Pirates end their Spain pre-season tour with a victory over Granada CF.

The Buccaneers went into the clash at the back of three winless runs, which consisted of two draws against Pafos FC and Las Palmas and a defeat to Bolton Wanderers.
Pirates started the club’s last match of the 2025-2026 pre-season tour in Spain on the front foot, creating multiple chances that they failed to convert due to poor finishing and indecisiveness in the final third.
Despite the dominance, the match went into the break tied goalless, leaving the Sea Robbers to put in a better showing in front of the net in the second half to win the match.
After ringing multiple changes at the break, Pirates continued their dominance and went on to find two late goals from Patrick Maswanganyi and Relebohile Mofokeng to seal a comfortable 2-0 victory.
The Soweto giants will now return to the country to continue their preparations for the new season, with friendly matches against fellow South African clubs set to be played before their start of the 2025-2026 season early next month.
