Kaizer Chiefs is told to sign Mamelodi Sundowns star attacker Thembinkosi Lorch, who is currently out on-loan in Morocco at Wydad Athletic Club.

After a successful loan stint at the Morrocan club which saw the 31-year-old score three goals in 17 matches(excluding domestic cup competitions), his parent club, Sundowns is said to be looking to cash in on the player.

With Wydad pushing hard to keep the player beyond the current deal, former Chiefs attacker Junior Khanye has tipped his former side to go in for the player.

Speaking to Soccer Laduma, the Diski Times analyst criticised his former side for signing unknown players after the club another the signing trio of Nkanyiso Shinga, Flàvio Silva, and Ethan Chislett.

He further went on to advice the club to sign Thembinkosi Lorch and Neo Maema after missing out on signing Sipho Mbule.

Meanwhile, the Naturena-based is expected to sign more than five players before the close of the current transfer period on the 22nd of September 2025 with former Orlando Pirates players Paseka Mako and Thabiso Monyane expected to be among the players.
