Speaking to CAF Media, the South African international revealed how the players and the club is looking to reach their goals and win the tournament, but they are expecting a tough challenge from Esperance side that lost to Al Ahly SC in the final of the tournament last season.
“It’s another step closer for us to reach our goals, our objectives, which is to be the champions of (the CAF) Champions League,” Ronwen Williams told CAF Media.
“That’s the ultimate goal for us as the team. I think that’s the one that’s missing.
“If you think about the type of football that we have played over the last few years, we wanted to go with trophies, we wanted to go with the big trophies, and that’s the one that is missing.
“This gives us another opportunity to put our hand on a silverware and get the big one.
“So we are looking forward to it, and we know it’s gonna be tough. Obviously, they(Esperance) got the experience of going all the way.
