Kaizer Chiefs’ coach is shown the exit doors by an African nation, as he is now solely focusing on his duties at the club.

Upon his arrival at Naturena before the beginning of the current season, Chiefs’ goalkeeper coach Ilyes Mzoughi was contracted by Mauritania’s national team under head coach Amir Abdou.
The bubbly goalkeeper coach worked with the national team for a couple of international breaks since joining Chiefs before he was replaced later last year after the sacking of Abdou by Mauritania.

Abdou has since been replaced by Aritz Lopez Garai as the national team coach, and the latter decided to bring in Mauritania giants FC Nouadhibou goalkeeper coach Aboubekrine Soueilem.
The move sees the Kaizer Chiefs’ coach, Mzoughi now solely focused on Amakhosi’s challenging and tricky job, which has seen the club use three goalkeepers this season to showcase his struggles to provide the club with a solid goalkeeper to cement the number one spot.
