Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns legend Teko Modisa backs Kaizer Chiefs To lift this season’s Nedbank Cup.

Having last won a trophy in 2015, Modise believes that the unpredictability of the tournament will see Chiefs lift their first trophy in ten years.
Speaking to Nedbank Cup content creator Zenande Funani during a Yes or No challenge, the General was asked if he believed Chiefs was going to lift the trophy.
He replied with a resonating, “Yes, please! We need them(Kaizer Chiefs) to win a trophy this season.”

He further went on to explain that his reason behind backing Chiefs is due to the unpredictability nature of the tournament.
“Look, no one expects them to go far, which is exactly why they might just surprise everyone.
“We need someone to shake things up,” Modise concluded on the chances of Chiefs lifting the Nedbank Cup.
Meanwhile, Amakhosi are still waiting to learn their opponents for the semis, after the quarterfinal clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and Sekhukhune United was postponed due to Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium being double booked earlier this month.
While in the other semis, Orlando Pirates is set to host Marumo Gallants at home.
