Orlando Pirates starlet Mbekezeli Mbokazi is reportedly set to sign a long-term deal at the club after impressive outings.

The 19-year-old’s start to first-team football has been nothing short of exceptional, as in the four matches he has played for the club, he has win Man of the match award twice and also scored a goal.

His performances have seemingly forced the club’s hand to act swiftly and secure his future at the club for the longest time.
According to Soccer Laduma, the South African Under-20 International is close to signing a four-year deal that will see stay at Houghton until the 30th of June 2029.
“For now, the deal and new contract is as good as done,” the publication reports.
“The talks have been going on since he was recommended to start training with the first team in August last year before he went with the under-20 National team to the COSAFA Cup in Mozambique, which South won.
“Yes, it’s a four-year contract which will run until June 2029.”
Mbokazi joins the likes of Thabiso Monyane, Thabiso Sesane, Relebohile Mofokeng, Boitumelo Radiopane, and Mohau Nkota in getting a first-team contract from the club’s reserve team in the last four seasons.
