Kaizer Chiefs central defender Rushwin Dortley breaks his silence after having a successful knee surgery that will see him miss the remainder of the season.

Last week, Chiefs announced that Dortley underwent a successful knee surgery that would see him sidelined for a long time after he missed a couple of matches.
Despite the club not providing the time the defender was going to be out of action, the 22-year-old was expected to at least the remainder of the season.
Something he confirmed when he was showing gratitude to the club, fans, and his teammates for the support they have shown him during the season.

The 22-year-old year took to his Instagram account to thank the mentioned party for the role they played this season, and also asked God to be with him during his recovery phase.
“As my season comes to an end due to an injury, I would like to thank Kaizer Chiefs, my teammates, and all the Amakhosi faithful for all the support throughout the season,” Dortley stated on his Instagram.
“Heading towards the road of recovery to come back stronger.
“Lord, when I feel weak, remind me of my inner strength. Help me face each challenge with courage and persistence.”
The former Cape Town Spurs FC versatile defender joins Happy Mashiane, Tashreeq Matthews, and Samkelo Zwane in the sidelines, as the trio are also facing lengthy spell on the sidelines due respective injuries.
