Kaizer Chiefs middlefielder Mduduzi Mdantsane opens about the car accident that nearly ended his career and life.

Back in July last year, the 30-year-old middlefielder was involved in a car accident that threatened his career and life after he was forced to go under the knife and fix his dislocated jew.
The accident saw the player miss the chance to impress the club’s head coach, Nasreddine Nabi.
Despite returning towards the end of last year, the former Baroka FC and Cape Town City FC star failed to get a chance to play.

Speaking Ukhozi FM, Mdantsane revealed that he is still struggling to deal with the outcomes of the accident and how long he was out.
“When I speak about that accident, it still affects me, I don’t like talking about it,” Mdantsane told Ukhozi FM.
“But it was very difficult. I don’t want to lie that I am not in the field that I like that I was born for.
“It’s hard watching other players doing good, supporting them, but me personally, I could that: ‘Hey, it should be me who is playing’. It’s hurting to all players. They feel it.
“You get affected in your spirit, I always want to be on the field, but I had to accept it. It was not easy.”
Mdantsane, who is currently out on loan at Richards Bay, is expected to be among the players that leave the club at the end of the season despite having more than a season left in his contract.
He is expected to be joined by the likes of Sabelo Radebe, Zitha Kwinika, Happy Mashiane, and Bongani Sam out of the club when the season ends.
