Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi reacts to Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos, snubbing the in-form Thabo Cele.

Last week Thursday, Broos named his 23-men squad to face Lesotho and Benin in World Cup qualifiers on the 21st and 25th of March, respectively.
Broos squad has no player from Chiefs, which left many in South African football fraternity questioning the exclusion of the in form Chiefs central middlefielder, Cele.
In his response, Belgium promised to call the Cele in the future, but right now, he is not impressed with how the Naturena-based club is playing.

After the 2-0 defeat to Richards Bay, Nabi was asked about the Cele Snub by Broos, and he responded by stating that the decision is Broos’ to make and as such it should be respected and he hopes one day, Cele will get the call-up.
“We have to respect the choices and the decisions of the national team coach,” Nabi told the media.
“He is the one who makes the choices which doesn’t take away our feeling that Thabo Cele is a very good player.
“And we hope that in the future he will go back to the national team.
“We know that by working hard, that time will come.”
Meanwhile, Broos was forced to make a late change to his squad after Orlando Pirates attacking middlefielder Patrick Maswanganyi was forced to pull out of the squad due to an injury.
Polokwane City middlefielder Ndamulelo Maphangule was called up to replace Maswanganyi.
