Kaizer Chiefs is likely to sign close to ten players ahead of next season, as the club is linked with a host of players both locally and internationally.

Vuyo Letlapa and Devin Titus during a Betway Premiership match between Sekhukhune United and Stellenbosch FC at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on the 6th of April 2025.

With the Naturena-based club set to spend big in the transfer window market, we have decided to look at ten players the club is linked with.

1. Stanley Nwabali

The Nigerian international is likely to partways with Chippa United at the end of the season, as he is looking to join a bigger club ahead of next season.

Having previously been linked with a move to Chiefs, Nwabali is likely to be heading to the club due to the club’s continuous struggles in goals.

2. Fawaaz Basadien

Amakhosi has been chasing the 29-year-old’s signature for well over two seasons, as he is seen as the solution to the ongoing problems in the leftback position.

With Happy Mashiane, Edmilson Dove, and Bongani Sam likely to leave the club at the end of the season, Chiefs is expected to go in again for the South African international.

3. Thabo Moloisane

The Mamelodi Sundowns development graduate has been having a good season at Stellenbosch FC, which saw him recently earning a maiden senior national team call-up.

His form sees Chiefs looking at him as one of the players to sign after the club recently sold Thatayaone Ditlhokwe to Libyan giants Al Ittihad.

With Zitha Kwinika facing uncertain times at the club, Chiefs will likely go in for him, but they are expected to face challenge from Sundowns and Orlando Pirates for his signature.

4. Vuyo Letlapa

The young Sekhukhune United left fullback has been one of the standout defenders this season, which has attracted Chiefs.

The Phefeni Glamour Boys sees him as a possible long-term solution to their problematic left back position, and they are likely to go in for him this upcoming window.

5. Siphelele Mkhulise

With his contract at Sundowns heading to an end and no indications of the club extending it, Mkhulise is a player that could see himself at Naturena next season.

His continental football experience could help Chiefs in their quest to return the glory days to the club should they sign him.

But at the moment, his move is dependent on what the Brazilians will do.

6. Neo Maema

Just like his teammate, Mkhulise, Maema is in his final three months of his contract at Chloorkop, but the club holds an option to extend his contract.

Should Sundowns decide not to extend his stay, Chiefs is expected to go in for him, as he could depth and quality to the club’s middlefield.

7. Feisal Salum

Chiefs’ struggles in the middle of the park are well-documented, and the Azam FC middlefielder is seen as a player that could bring a solution to them.

Despite Nasreddine Nabi admiring the player and wanting to him join the club, his hefty price tag and challenge from other clubs could see the player not head to Naturena.

8. Abubeker Nasir

The Ethiopian international is set to partways with SuperSport United at the end of the season, granting Chiefs a chance to sign him having failed to do so back in 2022.

Nasir was heavily linked with Chiefs before joining Sundowns after a successful trial stint, and now that he is set to become a free agent, Chiefs could land him.

9. Thapelo Maseko

Of the players on this list, Maseko is probably the one that we are sure that it will not happen.

The player is admired at Naturena, but he is unlikely to leave Sundowns anytime soon, as he is seen as the future of the club alongside the likes of Siyabonga Mabena, Kutlwano Letlhaku, and Jayden Adams.

10. Fiston Mayele

The club has made no secret that they will look to sign a top striker at the end of the season with the hope of ending their struggles in front of goals.

The Pyramids FC striker is seen as the perfect man to help and end the struggles in front of goals.

Having previously worked with Nabi, Chiefs is expected to go in hard for him in the winter.
